Saint Ronan's School asked me to develop some roadside directional signage. Despite having the most amazing location and a fantastic site they are tucked away down a small lane and the main access routes are easy for new visitors to miss especially at night
The signs needed to compliment their existing branding of blue and gold but also convey their new offerings and sports facilities that are open to the public. To aid easy recognition when driving past at speed I created a bespoke illustration of their iconic building as a simple visual statement. The large round version of the sign also features easily swappable panels to allow for future updates.
We experimented with various combinations of materials and eventually managed to produce a custom gold tinted closed lens reflective film for the graphics which really pops, especially at night.
